Users of the new financial system will receive training from Training Services through the Office of Human Resources. So that information is fresh, the bulk of training will be available to employees approximately three months before the new system goes live. Read a training update from April 2008 that includes information gathered from a recent survey about the new assessments.

Here are current details about EFS training:

  • Current CUFS and Financial Forms Nirvana (FFN) courses will be scaled back between now and March 2008. After April 2008, no CUFS or FFN courses will be available.

  • CUFS budget-entry courses will be delivered 1-2 months earlier than usual (approx. February to March 2008)

  • HRMS and SPA training will have a reduced schedule from March through August 2008.

  • Approximately 3,000 end users will be trained to use the new financial system by July 2008.

  • Approximately 30 new training classes are being created. Of those, about half are for distributed and cluster users.
